The Love Story of a Unilag Babe and Bus Conductor

Something interesting happened on my way to Oshodi this morning. At the park this rough mean-looking conductor also known as “agbero” in Yoruba was screaming for passengers, his vernacular oscillating between Yoruba and pidgin English.
“Oshod! Oshod!” He shouted angrily as I along with some other passengers scuttled for seats. There was this beautiful young lady who couldn’t throw caution and decorum to the wind but waited patiently until the bus was almost filled. Then she pleaded to sit by the agbero until somebody came down then she would pay for a proper seat.
The agbero didn’t even look at her pretty face, he hissed and shouted to the driver to move that why didn’t she rush when others were rushing. The girl started pleading in Yoruba and clean ‘oyinbo’ english; “please, ejó, help me out sir, I know you are a good man, never mind all this shout you have been shouting (people burst into laughter). Let me sit by your side please”.
Finally with much squeezing of face the agbero relented and she sat beside him. It was a tight squeeze but she didn’t complain but rather started praising the agbero. He in turn started teasing her, speaking (and sometimes spitting by mistake) into her face but the girl never looked away, she never let the smile leave her face. He asked her where she worked and she replied that she was a student in the University of Lagos (UNILAG) studying accounting. He teased her in Yoruba about her boyfriend and car (maybe asking why her boyfriend didn’t drop her at her destination…she laughed it off and continued to gist with the guy in Yoruba.
When she reached her junction the agbero alighted the bus for her to come down. She did and paid her transport fare, then the agbero told her to give him a peck on the cheek for being so ‘gentlemanly’.  At this point some of us became indignant, haba! He had been teasing her since, he should let her go. Another argument almost ensued between the agbero and the passengers although it was not as if the agbero was really serious, he told her to go. Then it happened! She jumped forward and gave him a peck on the cheek! We all shouted, the agbero was quiet out of surprise. She then waved bye and ran down to her street.
The driver and other people started to hail the agbero, see hailing! The guy was just forming boss, saying he knew he was irresistible etc and others were yabbing (taunting) him, some were yabbing the girl and we moved on and suddenly the bus was quiet, show over. Then the agbero put his head down and became uncharacteristically quiet. The driver soon asked the guy why he wasn’t calling out bus-stop abi the girl don do am jazz (cast a spell on him). The agbero said something in Yoruba I didn’t get and then his voice became emotional and believe it or not HE STARTED CRYING. Others were now consoling him in Yoruba. When I asked what the problem was, the lady beside me explained that the agbero said he just realised he would never be able to get a girl like that in his life because he’s an uneducated bus conductor and she was going to be a graduate. He was weeping because he knew no girl of her class might ever do to him what that girl just did, to touch a dirty person like himself; that the girl is nice and well brought-up and if he had money he would have chased after her. So the passengers were consoling him in Yoruba that he would go higher in life and be able to marry a girl like that. He should not cry because itwas not the end of the road for him.
That really touched me.
For a moment in that agbero’s life, his facade of a street thug fell away and he was a vulnerable emotional aspiring young man, just like everybody else.

5 steps to delegating and supervising

There are 5 steps to delegating and supervising that guarantee that your expectations are met and success results are achieved.
Step One
The first step in delegation is to become perfectly clear about the results that you desire from the job. The greater clarity you have with regard to the results expected, the easier it is for you to select the right person to do the job.
Step Two
The second step is to select a person based on his or her demonstrated ability or success at doing this job. Never delegate an important job to a person who has never done it before. If the successful completion of the task is important to the success of your business, it is essential that you delegate it to someone who you confidently believe can complete the task satisfactorily.
Step Three
Third, explain to the person exactly what you want done, the results that you expect, the time schedule that you require, and your preferred method of working. The reason that you are in a position to delegate a task is because you have probably already mastered this task. Taking the time to teach and explain the best way to do the task based on your experience is an excellent way to ensure that the task will be done as you wish and on schedule.
Step Four
Step four is to set up a schedule for reporting on progress. If it is an important task, set up a deadline for completion that is a day or a week before your actual deadline. Always build some slack into the system. Then, check on the progress of the task regularly, very much like a doctor would check on the condition of a critical care patient. Leave nothing to chance.
Step Five
Step five, inspect what you expect. Delegation is not abdication. Just because you have assigned a task to another person does not mean that you are no longer accountable. And the more important the task, the more important it is that you keep on top of it.
What task can you effectively delegate to someone else? Which one of your employees can handle the task efficiently?
I've created a special report called "Exercising Your Influence" to help you become a better and more effective leader.

Getting More Intimacy and Attention From Your Partner

Have You and Your Partner Grown Distant?

As the years go by, you may feel like your spouse or partner no longer
feels that you are attractive or significant. In fact, you may feel like
just about everything and everybody else is far more appealing than you are
in your spouse's or partner's world. These other things can include work,
hobbies, friends, and coworkers, to name a few. If you are feeling a lack
of connection with your spouse or partner, there are things you can do to
catch their attention and make yourself more available.

What Can I Do?

Be Present - Be present in your relationship, always. Maybe the two of you
fell in love and everything felt perfect, leading you to believe that you
would remain together forever in perfect harmony. Keep in mind, not
everybody experiences an instant connection, and not everybody is lucky to
maintain an intense closeness as time passes. It takes effort and focus to
stay connected.

Make Eye Contact - You've probably heard that the eyes are the windows to
the soul. It is imperative to make and maintain eye contact with your
partner. When you look into your spouse's eyes from across a room, you're
actually being intimate. Eye contact is an important part of socializing
and is an integral part in creating any intimate relationship. Not only
does eye contact show you are interested and attentive to the conversation;
it also shows trust and understanding, as well as openness and emotional
connection.

Be Physical - Touching the one you love not only feels good; it also
increases the "love hormone" called oxytocin. This hormone is important to
any romantic relationship and is the reaction to being touched, not only by
having sex, but by holding hands, hugging, or touching feet. Be flirtatious
and touch their arm or knee when having a conversation.

Be Interested - Pay attention to your spouse by listening to what is being
said and by noticing body language. In order to do this, 100 percent, you
have to tune everything else out, and listen to what your spouse is saying.
Commit to listen actively when your spouse is talking. When you spouse
speaks, make eye contact and be silent while taking in everything that is
being said. When you do speak, be sure to be supportive and courteous,
which will show you are understanding the dialog, as well as interested in
the topic of conversation.

Be Emotionally Present - Share the intimate details of what is going on in
your daily life. Tell them why you were excited or let down by that
situation at work or with a friend; let them in on the little details of
your day. This will help build a more intimate connection. Being
emotionally present proves to your spouse or partner that they are valued,
appreciated, and special. Many times, these feelings will be returned to
you. Being vulnerable goes along with trusting that your spouse or partner
actually accepts the real you.

Love Unconditionally - Always accept your spouse or partner for who they
are, as they are. Never try to change something about them; even something
as minor as the way they wear their hair or the fact that they always wear
t-shirts when you'd rather they dressed up a bit more. Being able to accept
the small things is a good indicator that you will be able to accept the
larger things such as learning about your partner's dreams, goals, and
feelings without being judgmental or dismissive.

Laugh, A Lot - Laugh together; have a great time together. Reminisce about
funny moments in your life; watch TV shows or movies that crack you up.
Laughter is contagious. When you hear somebody laughing, it is natural for
you to want to laugh as well. People who laugh a lot have less stress in
their lives.

Schedule Together Time - Schedule time together each and every day, for at
least 10 to 15 minutes. This can be before dinner, over coffee after
dinner, first thing in the morning, or in the evening, just before bed.
Focus on each other without interruption. Also, schedule time away
together, without the kids. Have a date night at least once per month, and
a date weekend (overnight) at least twice per year.

If you have made an effort to be more available to your spouse or partner
and things are still not improving, you will need to have a heart-to-heart
talk. However, it is important you know what you want before you start
ranting and raving about issues in your marriage or relationship. It's
important that you know the difference between your wants and your needs.

If talking it out doesn't improve your situation, you and your spouse or
partner may want to consider speaking with one of our trained

Fight Fairly!

Fight Fairly!

Your brain has two sides, each with specific tasks to perform. The right-hand side has a very small region called the amygdala which does many things including producing emotional reactions. The left-hand side of the brain is primarily for problem solving. Between the two is the Corpus Callosum which is like a bridge that connects the two sides.

Unfortunately, many people tend to stay on the right side of the brain and are so emotionally that they are unable to easily problem-solve. The Corpus Callosum does not strengthen because there is little traffic back and forth and so emotional reactions tend to flourish and problem-solving ability diminishes.

When you are involved in a difficult situation or having an argument with another person, there are specific things that you can do to resolve issues effectively:

Remember that conflict is part of life - Holding different ideas is not a bad thing. In fact, if everyone thought the same way, life would be pretty boring! Think about how differing opinions can lead to positive change.
Focus on the issue - It is easy to get off track but important to stick with the topic in dispute. It is helpful if each of you writes down one sentence on a piece of paper that clearly states the issue. Then stick to the issue during your discussion.
Get all the information - Listen to the other person and make sure that you have all the information necessary to make a good decision. This might involve having to do some research before carrying on the conversation.
Stay in the present - It doesn't help to bring up things from the past and quite likely will make things even worse.
Take a break - When things are calm, make an agreement that during any heated debate you can make the time-out signal with your hands to indicate that you need to calm down. Walk around the block and come back within 15 minutes so the other person doesn't worry about you.
Never attack the person with words or actions - Physical abuse is never appropriate. Over the years I have heard clients state, however, that the physical abuse ended but the verbal and mental abuse was burned into their souls.
Look for common interests - Identify the things that you both want and then focus on how you can work together so that these interests are protected and enhanced.
Employ sleep - Fatigue can negatively distort perception so sometimes it is better to deal with problems or differences after you have had a good rest.
Keep things private - Do not spread gossip about your disagreement or try to solicit support from others (especially children) unless you both agree to meet with a professional who can help you resolve issues.
Admit when you are wrong - Sometimes it is best to apologize even for the part that you played in escalating the situation.

The Law of Clarity By: Okwelum Fidelis Maxwell

Action Exercise
Determine how you will measure progress and success of achieving your goal. Write it down.

The Law of Clarity
By: Okwelum Fidelis Maxwell

Clarity accounts for probably 80% of success and happiness. Lack of clarity is probably more responsible for frustration and underachievement than any other single factor. That's why we say that "Success is goals, and all else is commentary." People with clear, written goals, accomplish far more in a shorter period of time than people without them could ever imagine. This is true everywhere and under all circumstances.

The Three Keys to High Achievement
You could even say that the three keys to high achievement are, "Clarity, Clarity, Clarity," with regard to your goals. Your success in life will be largely determined by how clear you are about what it is you really, really want.

Write and Rewrite Your Goals
The more you write and rewrite your goals and the more you think about them, the clearer you will become about them. The clearer you are about what you want, the more likely you are to do more and more of the things that are consistent with achieving them. Meanwhile, you will do fewer and fewer of the things that don't help to get the things you really want.

"Discover How Working Less Can Catapult You to Untold Business Success"
Why is it some people are wildly successful while you seem to be struggling to make more? For years I've coached top business people and entrepreneurs. I've worked face-to-face with them to improve every area of their life. These same techniques used in my coaching program are now available to you

The Seven Step Process for Achieving Goals
Here, once more, is the simple, seven-step process that you can use to achieve your goals faster and easier than ever before.

First, decide exactly what you want in each area of your life. Be specific!

Second, write it down, clearly and in detail;

Third, set a specific deadline. If it is a large goal, break it down into sub-deadlines and write them down in order;

Fourth, make a list of everything you can think of that you are going to have to do to achieve your goal. As you think of new items, add them to your list;

Fifth, organize the items on your list into a plan by placing them in the proper sequence and priority;

Sixth, take action immediately on the most important thing you can do on your plan. This is very important!

Seventh, do something every day that moves you toward the attainment of one or more of your important goals. Maintain the momentum!

Join the Top 3%
Fewer than three percent of adults have written goals and plans that they work on every single day. When you sit down and write out your goals, you move yourself into the top 3% of people in our society. And you will soon start to get the same results that they do.

Review Your Goals Daily
Study and review your goals every day to be sure they are still your most important goals. You will find yourself adding goals to your list as time passes. You will also find yourself deleting goals that are no longer as important as you once thought. Whatever your goals are, plan them out thoroughly, on paper, and work on them every single day. This is the key to peak performance and maximum achievement.

Action Exercises
Here is how you can apply this law immediately:

First, make a list of ten goals that you would like to achieve in the coming year. Write them down in the present tense, as though a year has passed and you have already accomplished them.

Second, from your list of ten goals, ask yourself, "What one goal, if I were to accomplish it, would have the greatest positive impact on my life?" Whatever it is, put a circle around this goal and move it to a separate sheet of paper.

Third, practice the seven-step method described above on this goal. Set a deadline, make a plan, and put it into action and work on it every day. Make this goal your major definite purpose for the weeks and months ahead.

Get ready for some amazing changes in your life.

How to make money from money

Top ten tips for trading FX

How to make money from money
By Okwelum Fidelis M

1. Practice before you start trading with real money. Could you imagine an athlete going to the

Olympic Games without preparation and training? Make sure you have practised your trading on a demo

platform and get comfortable with it and your trading style before committing real money.

2. Know what moves currency markets. Like any asset class, there are a number of factors that drive

currency performance. A country’s macroeconomic situation can have a major influence – economic data

releases, policy decisions and political events can change an economist’s outlook on the country, and

therefore the currency. There are also technical factors such as interest rates, equity markets and

international trade which may have an impact. Spend time getting to know these.

3. Understand the strategies. Yes there is a method to the madness. As a trader you need to be aware

of three crucial trading strategies which are often used by currency traders; the carry, momentum, and

value trade. Momentum tracks the direction of currency markets; the carry strategy sees investors

selling currencies with low interest rates and buying those with high rates; and the valuation

strategy takes a position based on the investor’s view of a currency’s value. However, the strategies

that you use are up to you.

4. Manage risk. As with any investment decision, you must decide what risk you’re willing to accept.

Ask yourself, “how much am I prepared to lose on this position?” If you don’t have a convincing or

comfortable answer then you should rethink the trade. Do not risk more than you can afford to lose.

Think about how you can mitigate your downside risk by using of trading strategies such as stop losses

or limit orders.

5. Stick to your knitting. There are literally hundreds of currency pairs that can be traded in the

currency markets, each of which have their own characteristics and considerations to understand and

analyse. If you’re participating in the market on a part time and non professional basis, it is

probably better to concentrate on just a few pairs and commit to thorough and robust research on

those, rather than superficial research on the many. Some key things to consider when analysing a

currency pair are its liquidity, transaction costs (the spread) and its volatility. As a general

rule, major currencies usually have better liquidity, tighter spreads and lower volatility, versus

emerging market currencies which have poor liquidity, wide spreads and volatile movements.

6. Plan your trade, and trade your plan. It’s one thing to have a plan, it’s quite another to execute

it. It is important in currency trading to not get caught up in the moment – the markets are fast

moving and in the short term can be unpredictable. Rather than trying to make a quick profit, stick

to your long term plan based on your research. Good currency traders make money in the long term by

being disciplined, not necessarily by making short term bets.

7. Research, research, research. It’s important to stay up to date. All currencies move quickly and

checking the price once a week is not going to help you make strong long term returns. It is helpful

to use an online provider that gives you up to the minute data and statistics. Traders use this data

to constantly assess their trading positions.

8. Keep your emotions in check. Like many important decisions, it is vital to keep emotion out of any

trading decision you make. If you’re upset about missing out on an opportunity and want to trade

yourself better, or want to go ‘off-piste’ to make up for a loss earlier in the day – reconsider,

because you’ve got the warning signs of someone about to make a rash and irrational decision. If you

do feel yourself getting emotionally involved in a particular trade, take a deep breath, review your

strategy, and establish how such a decision will affect your overall approach before going anywhere

near the ‘execute’ button.

9. Don’t expect to win on every trade. That may not sound like much of a sales pitch, but even the

most successful of traders don’t win on every trade. What they do have is a robust plan and long-term

strategy which carefully considers the risks. So don’t necessarily be disheartened if a trade doesn’t

go your way; review why it went wrong and see if there is anything to learn from the experience. But

don’t think that currency trading is an option for those seeking quick money, because like any

investment, it only should be played by those with a long-term end-game in mind.

10. Don’t put all your (nest) eggs in the currency basket. Foreign exchange is only one of the many

asset classes you should be considering as part of a balanced investment portfolio. FX trading is not

suitable for every investor, so if you are committing all of your financial resources to FX trading be

sure you are fully aware of the risks and rewards of doing so, because it’s not recommended. The same

applies for currency trading itself; spread your risk by not placing all your faith in a single trade

because diversification is key; no matter what asset class you’re investing with.

7 Goal Setting Tips

7 Goal Setting Tips
7 Little Known
Goal Setting Tips
That Will Turn Your Vague Dreams
Into Tangible Reality
Lesson 1: The Most Important Rule Of Writing Your Goals Down That You Must Follow If You Want To Achieve Success.
Most of us already know that it is vitally important to write your goals down.
The simple mechanical act of writing makes your goal visible and tangible. That’s no longer just a thought!
Now it’s a commitment.
But there is one rule you must follow to succeed that very few know.
It’s not enough to write your goal down…
… You have to describe it in complete detail!
Make it as specific as possible.
Compare:
“I want to buy a new home”
and
“I want to live in a new two story gorgeous Victorian style home with 4 spacious bedrooms, luxurious living room with a fireplace and hardwood floors. I will enjoy my large backyard with swimming pool and patio…”
“I want to make a lot of money” is not the goal.
It’s just a wish.
“I want to make $10.000 monthly with my business by July 1st.”
Now that’s the goal.
After writing your goal down in complete details don’t forget to make it visible!
You can write it on a yellow note and stick it on your computer.
Or even better. Print it so it would fit 4x6 picture frame, then frame it and put it on your desktop.
You can also print it on your business card and put it in your wallet.
Try to surround yourself with little reminders.
This will help you to stay focused on your goal and create a clear mental image of what you want.
Lesson 2: The One Question You Must Answer Before You Take Action.
There is one question you must answer before you start achieving your goal.
Failure to answer that question will result in lack of motivation and failure to follow the plan.
Take a piece of paper and answer this question in writing:
WHY do you want to achieve your goal?
No, not just because “I want”. There are reasons behind your dreams, usually dozens of them.
And if you realize why you want to reach your goal, you’ll be most likely to follow your plan till the end.
For example, why would you want to lose 15 pounds in 2 months?
􀃖To look good
􀃖To feel good about yourself
􀃖To fit in your favorite dress
􀃖To impress your spouse
􀃖…

List every single reason. Try to imagine all the benefits.
The truth is the longer the list, the stronger your motivation will be.
Read your reasons first thing in the morning. Even better, frame them and hang them on the wall. It will keep you focused and motivated.
Lesson 3: How To Trick Yourself To Finally Get Started Working On Your Goals And Stay On Track Until The Goal Is Accomplished.
I’ve heard this hundreds of times.
“Think Big!”
“Dream Big Dreams!”
“Make Your Goal As Big As You Can Imagine!”
So, okay… I’ve written down my BIG, almost out-of-reach goal. After all, I don’t want to underestimate myself. I know I can do this but…
But often after a full day at work I’m just so exhausted…
…to start working on my big goal. I don’t have enough energy for BIG goals. So I make a dinner, watch TV, do the homework and think “I’ll do it tomorrow.”
But tomorrow never comes.
Every evening I’m too tired to work on my goal. Day after day I’m feeling more and guiltier. As weeks pass by I’m getting more depressed….
Have you ever been in this situation?
If yes, there’s a small trick that will help you to get started no matter how big your goal is.
Every night write down a small task for the next day. Make it as tiny as you can. Something that would take 10-15 minutes.
Let’s say your goal is to lose weight and you decided to work out every day for 30 minutes.
You could write down your assignment:
“Do one exercise for lower abs 10 times.”
Yes, just one exercise, just 10 times. It would take you about 3 minutes.
The secret is that the most difficult thing is to get started. Once you got started you 95% most likely to finish the whole 30 minutes work out!
Even if you just do one exercise for 10 times, it is better that nothing. You wouldn’t feel guilty and depressed – you’ve fulfilled your assignment! And if you do more you’ll feel even better!
The trick is to give yourself a really small task:
To make a phone call, or to read one page of a textbook.
And once you get started you will actually find out that you won’t mind doing more than you planned!
Remember, set big goals, but make your tasks small.
Lesson 4: One Simple, Yet Powerful, Technique That Drives You Into Actions Every Day And Helps To Overcome Procrastination.
Unfortunately very few recognize the astonishing power of personal success journal. It takes only 10-15 minutes a day to write down your achievements and the tasks you’ve accomplished. But these 15 minutes a day have the power to transform all your life.
􀂾Success journal motivates you.

By writing down your achievements you will be able to feel the progress. You will see how by small steps you’re moving closer and closer to your goal.
􀂾Success journal eliminates temptation.

It will be easier to resist temptations since you know that you have to write down what you have done tonight.
􀂾Success journal simplifies your life.

Things become much simpler when they are written down. A journal makes you more tolerant of life’s distractions.
However you should be aware of three rules of keeping a success journal:
1. Write only what you’ve done.
Don’t write what you still haven’t done and what you have to do tomorrow. List only accomplished tasks and achievements.
2. List even small things.
Everything counts! A phone call, a chapter of a textbook or your decision to pass by the chocolate cheesecake.
3. Make it a daily habit.
Don’t skip days! Even if you’re exhausted make sure you write at least 1-2 sentences in your success journal. Even if the only thing you did was thinking about your goal.

I urge you to take a notebook and start to list all your completed tasks. In 30 days you wouldn’t possibly be able to live without it.
Lesson 5: The Secret Formula That Helps You To Define The Perfect Moment For Working On Your Goal.
Are you waiting for a perfect moment to work on your goal? Are you sure you will be able to recognize the perfect moment when it comes?
There is one simple formula that instantly tells you the perfect time to start achieving your goal.
The perfect moment = NOW!
Yes, right now, this very second is the ONLY perfect moment to start working towards your goals. No, it’s not tomorrow or Monday or the first day of the month. Right now.
Don’t waste your life waiting for a perfect conditions or perfect opportunity. They don’t exist.
Use what you have, start right now, never ever procrastinate!
Have you ever noticed that all the successful people are very dynamic? They don’t lie on the couch…
…waiting for the perfect time to start doing something. They get up and DO it.
If you’re still trying to put things off and make excuses to do it later, in the next lesson you will learn how to overcome procrastination and become a person who loves the thrill of getting things done.
Lesson 6: How To Stop Putting Things Off And Convert Yourself From Procrastinator Into Productive, Effective Person Who Loves The Thrill Of Getting Things Done.
Are you the person who always puts things off and promises himself to do it later?
Then this technique is for you.
Next time you’ll catch yourself trying to putt important task off, take a piece of paper and answer three simple questions.
1. Where you are?
2. What do you want to do?
3. How you will feel while doing it?

While writing down what do you want to do you will already imagine yourself doing it. And it won’t be very difficult for you to get up and do it.
Let’s say you’ve been putting off organizing your closet. You always find more important tasks to do and it’s never enough time to clean it and put everything in place.
Just sit down, take a piece of paper and begin writing: “It’s Saturday, 3:45pm. I’m sitting in the kitchen, drinking coffee. I want to organize my closet. It will only take me about 1 hour and I will feel energetic and satisfied that I finally got it done. My closet will be clean, everything will be sorted and in place…”
Just as you’re writing it you feel the desire to get up and do it. Because you want your closet organized, you want to feel satisfied and you’ve already imagined yourself doing it.
Remember, all you have to do is to answer three questions. Where you are, what do you want to do, and how will you feel while doing it. It’s a very simple technique but it works like a magic! ☺
Lesson 7: The One Simple Technique That Will Make Any Boring Task A Pure Fun And Increase Your Productivity By More Than 125%!
Do you know how to turn monotonous boring task into fun?
Make a game out of it!
For example, time yourself and keep trying to improve your time.
Let’s say you have to peel 20 pounds of apples.
Challenge yourself!
Set a record how many apples can you peel in 3 minutes. Then try to beat your own record. Or you can time yourself to see how long it takes you to peel one apple. And beat your record again!
The good thing is you will always be a winner. ;)
You can turn any boring task into fun game. Just use a little imagination!
This simple trick has proven to increase productivity by more than 125%! Use it and you’ll notice that you’re getting more work done in a less amount of time.

Knowing exactly what is possible can be very empowering

Knowing exactly what is possible can be very empowering, but ultimately it's your determination and hard work that make the difference between failure and success.
Faith without works is dead… James.2:26

Your mind is a powerful tool.

Your mind is a powerful tool.
Develop it,protect it.
Use it wisely.
But more important than your mind,it's your soul that touches people.

What has traditionally been known as the Sun  is about the self -- who you are and how you cultivate your personality and character. The earth revolves around the sun to make up one year of a person's life, a fact we celebrate on our birthday.

The Sun  could also be titled "Back to Eden." The Sun's radiance is where one's original nature or unconditioned Being can be encountered in health and safety. The limitations of time and space are stripped away; the soul is refreshed and temporarily protected from the chaos outside the garden walls.

Under the light of the Sun, Life reclaims its primordial goodness, truth and beauty. If one person is shown on this , it is usually signifying a human  of the Divine. When two humans are shown, the image is portraying a resolution of the tension between opposites at all levels. It's as if this  is saying "You can do no wrong -- it's all to the good!"

Jokes Etc,

Three business associates, an Igbo man, a
Yoruba man and a Chinese man, went to eat
lunch together at a restaurant in Surulere.
While in the middle of their meal, a fly came in
through the window. It flew across the table
to where the Igbo man was but he just
waved his hands to chase it away.
The fly then went to where the Yoruba man
was, he also chased it away.
Finally, the fly then went to where the Chinese
man was and was flying close to his ears. The
Chinese man looked at the fly for sometime
and then grabbed it, put it in his mouth and
swallowed it.
The other men saw this but just kept on
eating.
About Five minutes later, another fly came in
and flew to the Yoruba man who just chased
it away again.
It then flew on to the Igbo man but this time
he did not chase the fly, he looked at it for
sometime and then grabbed it. He then
turned to the Chinese man and asked "how
much you go buy am?"

Relationships: Why Do Some People Feel Abandoned When A Relationship Ends?

Relationships: Why Do Some People Feel Abandoned When A Relationship Ends?

While some people are able to handle break ups reasonably well, there are other people who find them to be extremely difficult. And although it could all depend on how long the relationship has lasted for or on the kind of connection that they had with the other person, these two factors are not always important.

It may have been a relationship that only lasted for a short period of time and there may have been little, if any, connection. It could have been abusive for instance. But even if it hasn't lasted for very long or it wasn't working, it doesn't mean that one can simply move on.

This is something that could happen to anyone and yet, there are some people who are going to have experienced this on numerous occasions. It could even have become a way of life and something they have become accustomed to.

Pain

So whenever one experiences the end of a relationship it is going to be extremely painful. Other people could say that it didn't last for very long or that it wasn't working and many other things and yet, this is not going to make any difference.

Intellectually one may agree and wonder why they feel as they do. As at an emotional level, one could end up feeling as they have self destructed. One minute one was in a relationship and now they are not, and it could feel like the end of the world no matter what did or didn't happen when they were together.

Abandonment

And for some people, this pain is going to be the result of feeling abandoned. It then won't matter how long their relationships last for or how fulfilling they are, as one is going to end up feeling the same.

When a relationship comes to an end, it could feel as though one has lost part of themselves. It could be so overwhelming, that one feels as though they are going to die. Through feeling this way, one could end up doing things that are far from healthy.

Consequences

One may end up finding another relationship as soon as they can to avoid feeling abandoned. It might not matter who it is or how compatible they are, as long as one finds someone to take their pain away.

This could even cause one to use alcohol or drugs as a way to numb their pain. Or they could just let the pain consume them and end up feeling down and depressed.

Avoidance

So some people will soon end up in another relationship and there will be other people who go in the opposite direction. They will do all they can to avoid getting to close to another person.

This will allow them to experience a greater sense of control over how they feel; the downside is that one is still going to feel abandoned. It might not be as strong, but it won't simply go away.

Time Goes By

However, as the need to be close to another won't go away, one could soon be in another relationship. And there is then the chance that one will end up in the same position they were in before.

Over Reacting

So other people could find it hard to understand why one feels as they do and one might have the same outlook. They could say that one needs to move on or let go. But due to the pain they are experiencing, it is not possible for them to just move on and let go.

The relationship has come to an end and one is still alive, but at an emotional level, they can feel completely overwhelmed. And not only will they feel abandoned; they can also feel hopeless and powerless and there can also experience extreme grief.

Emotional Build Up

Every time a relationship comes to an end and one feels abandoned, it is going to add to how they felt before when a relationship ended. That is unless they have worked through their emotions.

So it is clear to see why it can be so painful. And the reason why one does feel abandoned when a relationship comes to an end could due to what happened during their childhood years.

Childhood

And to be abandoned as a child is going to be overwhelming and feel like the end of the world. At that age, one doesn't have the ability to regulate their emotions. So when one was abandoned and no one was around, their emotional pain would not have been processed.

It would have ended up being trapped in their body. And although being abandoned was painful, it would have been associated as familiar and therefore safe. So all the time these emotions are trapped in one's body, one will continue to re-create the same experiences.

Awareness

So in order for one to move beyond this pattern in their life, it will be important for them to let go of the emotional build up within them. As this takes place, one will no longer need to re-create the same experience or to feel the same.

This is something that can take place through the assistance of a therapist or a healer.

Your Energy Level Determines Your Luck

Your Energy Level Determines Your Luck

By Enoch Tan, Creator of Secrets of Mind and Reality

Many people think that luck is something that is purely random, unpredictable and difficult to control. That is because they do not know what luck really is. When you are able to know the true definition of luck, you can learn the whole science behind this phenomena and gain control over it.

Luck is another aspect of your reality and perhaps the most powerful and important one. The more conscious and aware you become of the elements of your reality, the more of a conscious and powerful creator you will be.

Your luck is your psychokinetic resonance with the environment you are in. Like everything else, luck is an energy. It is something that is quantifiable not in physical but in nonphysical ways. You can quantify it physically only in terms of its physical manifestations in your life. Luck is dependent on time, place and consciousness.

When you are lucky, you are in mental and emotional resonance with your surroundings.

When you are unlucky, it is the opposite. The level of resonance is the level of your luck.

Luck is also a feeling or emotion because emotion is energy in motion. When you are lucky, you are also feeling lucky. Your feeling is your vibration and therefore you are vibrating luck and feeing it. You feel and experience that everything is working for you when you are lucky.

You feel that everything is working against you when you aren't lucky. A state of vibrational harmony or disharmony with your environment is the whole explanation for this. You either feel that things are in a flow or things are disrupted.

Your energy level determines your luck vibration. At times when you are feeling low of energy, that is also when your luck vibration is at a low point. You are more likely to make careless mistakes, become more accident prone and flop up in some way. When you are feeling high of energy, that is also when your luck vibration is in a high state. You are sharper, clearer and more in the zone. You seem to be able to do amazing things in ways that baffle others to the point that makes you seem very skillful or lucky.

Actually luck and skill are one. The more in energetic resonance you are with your environment, the more your skill will work and the luckier you'll seem. You can always observe that when the best are in action, they always seem to have both their skill and the situation working for them. You can never separate luck from skill because after all, they are both part of the same thing called psychokinetic resonance with the environment. Your skill is your capability of handling the situation which depends on luck.

Once you know that luck is an energy, you can depend on it in that manner. You cannot depend on luck that is considered to be random chance occurrence. You can't depend on such things because they do not exist. A non existent thing cannot be depended upon. Everything that exists is a part of consciousness and can be controlled by consciousness. Therefore luck exist and is fully under your control. Knowing this, you never have to fear of bad luck because you can make all things work in your favor.

Since luck is dependent on energy, you have to pay attention to your level of energy in every moment and take charge of it. When you notice that your energy level is low, be more careful with the things you do especially if they are important. You may make mistakes that usually never happen, and wonder how could you be so unlucky or stupid.

You may realize that every time you have made careless or stupid mistakes that seem to be like bad luck, it was when your energy level was indeed at a low point.

Lack of focus and lack of being adequately present minded also creates bad luck. Do you notice that when you make stupid mistakes in situations, you felt that you were not ready? What do you mean by not being ready? You mean that you weren't focusing properly or fully enough, and you weren't being adequately present minded. The first step to controlling luck is to be present minded. If you want to be lucky, you must put your focus in the activity you are doing. Or else you'd create bad luck and mistakes.

Your level of focus and placing your mind in the present determines your psychokinetic resonance with the environment. Focusing is how you channel energy towards a particular time and place. When your focus is here, your energy is channeled here and you experience luck here. Where you focus is where you generate luck in. That is why the secret of success is focus. Successful people are lucky people because they have more focus than the unsuccessful and unlucky ones. Focus to be a lucky one.

Seek to maintain a high level of energy or vibration at all times. People who experience their luck going up and down throughout the day allow their energy to go up and down. People who experience their luck being consistently high all the time maintain their energy and vibration at a high level. At times when your energy is low, seek to increase it to a higher level again. Do not continue doing any work at a low level of energy because you will tend to make mistakes. Recharge your energy first, then work.

Be aware of negative thoughts and feelings that will bring your level of energy or vibration lower. Positive thoughts and feelings bring your energy level and vibrations higher. Therefore choose to think positive thoughts and feel positive emotions, and you will experience more luck and success in your life. You can also increase your luck when you are more intent of succeeding in a certain situation. Your energy of intent will energize you with the luck you need, and that is why willful intent bends the world to you.

You May Be Broke, But Don't Be Boring

You May Be Broke, But Don't Be Boring

By Steve Pavlina

Eliminating limiting beliefs about abundance won't help much if you still cling to limiting beliefs about being broke.

Could you be totally broke the rest of your life and still have a blast? If you can't see that yet, you're:

blind to what really matters in life
turning money into a power source
    being boring

Don't expect the universe to lavish abundance on you for being blind, powerless, and boring.

Being broke is fun!

It's an adventure.

It's a challenge for your creativity — not to race past it, but to fully enjoy the experience of being broke.

You needn't put your life on hold just because you're broke.

You can still fall in love.

You can laugh.

You can exercise.

You can read the greatest books ever written.

You can write. You can compose music. You can create art. If you have no money for art supplies, make art with sand. If you have no money for musical instruments, sing.

You can couchsurf and explore new places.

You can have really great sex.

You can work on your social skills and make tons of new friends.

When I was broke, I used a cardboard box as a piece of furniture. Should I have felt down about that? Wouldn't it be better to laugh at the silliness of it? Being broke is filled with silliness. Laugh at your late fees. A late fee is kind ridiculous, isn't it? You got charged $35 because you forgot to put a piece of paper in the mail by a certain date? Call the company and tell them to remove that silly fee. They usually will.

If you're broke, so what? Stop making it into this terrible thing that you have to escape as quickly as possible. Stop stressing out about it. By global standards, if you're reading this, you're probably far from what many would consider truly destitute. You're probably still among the wealthier half of the world. Many people on this planet would LOVE to upgrade to your version of brokeness, which they'd regard as unimaginable wealth. You have clean water to drink? You aren't under daily threat of violence? Internet — what is that? You must be so rich!

See your life through their eyes. Realize that you've been pretending to be in a state of lack, when you already have such lavish abundance.

And stop being so boring. Being broke is no excuse for that. Put the fun back in your life. Pursue your passions, even while you're broke, not because you're trying to escape brokeness but because you realize you're already more than rich enough. Stop wallowing in fear and self pity. Make your life ridiculously fun right now. Don't put your dreams on hold just because you don't have money. That's stupid. And it's really boring to watch!

Sign up for free updatesQuit stressing yourself out about not having much money. Take some pride in being broke. There's nothing wrong with it at all. Some people revel in it.

Focusing on abundance is great, but don't envision an abundant future and neglect your present. See the abundance you already have. Squeeze all the juice out of today, right where you are.

Transform your relationship with here and now. Dwelling on there and then is less important.

These days I have more financial abundance flowing through my life. But what I treasure most was losing my fear of being broke. I learned to be rich when I didn't have much. And so I don't fear going broke again. It wouldn't be a failure or a shameful thing. It would just be more fun and adventure.

Some people say, "I've been broke and I've been rich. Rich is better."

Screw that! Rich isn't better. It's just different. You're not really rich at all if you think that way. Squeeze the richness out of each moment. If you're really rich, you'll remain rich no matter how much money you have. So reinterpret that previous expression as being about mindset (broke vs. rich), not about resources.

Again, stop being a boring broke person. Why on earth would you expect people to lavish opportunities on you if you're constantly being boring?

I love connecting with broke people, but not the boring ones… not the ones who drown in self pity… not the ones who constantly stress over what might go wrong next.

Let stuff go wrong, and laugh at it.

So you got a late fee. So you couldn't afford your rent. So your car keeps breaking down. In the grand scheme of life, does any of that matter? Is it really something to fret over? Other people are working on how to send humans to Mars, and you're stressing out about your rent? Seriously… get some perspective. You could be helping us invent more Star Trek stuff instead.

Be a fun broke person.

Laugh more, especially at your problems.

Read.

Get some exercise.

Smile.

Hug people.

And definitely have more sex. Trust me on that one.

How to Manifest Money

By Steve Pavlina
The most important aspect of manifesting money is to approach it from the right heartset. Think of your heartset as the overall vibe of your relationship to the activity of attracting money. How would you describe that relationship? Is it greedy, needy, excited, hopeful, etc?

If you approach this process from a place of neediness, clinginess, scarcity, or too much seriousness, you'll most likely fail. That's the right vibe for attracting nothing — or for making things worse by attracting unwanted expenses — but it's not the right vibe for attracting money.

So if you come at this from a place of saying, "I really need $1000 to pay my rent next month, so I'm going to focus hard on manifesting it via the Law of Attraction," well… good luck with that. But I'd bet against you.

A slightly better vibe is that of hope, but this is still a pretty weak vibe. Hope won't get you very far.

A much better vibe is to come from a place of curiosity and experimentation. Go into a state of childlike wonder. With this vibe you may begin to generate some interesting results.

An even stronger vibe is to generate feelings of playfulness and excitement. This is a great vibe for manifesting money.

A much better vibe is to come from a place of curiosity and experimentation. Go into a state of childlike wonder. With this vibe you may begin to generate some interesting results.

An even stronger vibe is to generate feelings of playfulness and excitement. This is a great vibe for manifesting money. In the next section, I'll share a story to illustrate how I do this with my daughter.
Knowing

When you want to manifest money, it's important to know that it's already there. If it's hidden at all, it's hiding in plain sight, waiting for you to notice it and pick it up. This applies whether we're talking about cash found on the ground or opportunities that will generate cash.

Know that the cash and the opportunities are right in front of your face. You just have to adjust your "eyes" to see them. You do this by shifting your vibe — your frequencies of thought and emotion — to one that's capable of detecting the money.

It's fun to think of this vibe-shifting process as shifting dimensions, as if you're tuning in to a different perceptual frequency spectrum. That other reality was there all along. You just couldn't see it before because you were tuned in to incompatible perceptual frequencies, frequencies that made the money invisible and undetectable by your senses. Maybe you were stuck on the red part of the spectrum, while the money was hanging out in the blue part.

Obviously your senses pick up a lot as you go about your day, but you only notice a puny fraction of all that input. In order to manifest money, you need to tune your senses to bring to your attention useful input that you've been subconsciously dismissing as irrelevant background noise. This tuning process takes some time, but you can definitely do it.

Lately I've been teaching my daughter Emily (age 10) how to manifest coins. I do this by turning it into a game. When we're out walking together, I challenge her to see if she can find more coins than I can.

The first time I did this, she was really bad at it. I found several coins during our walk together, often coins that she walked right past without even noticing. Instead of finding coins, she didn't notice anything. The coins didn't register within her perceptual reality.

Later on she began noticing things that were close to coins, but not coins. She found bottle caps, paper clips, scraps of paper, and coin-like smudges on the floor — everything but coins. I kept pointing out to her that there are coins everywhere, but you have to tune in to the "coin abundance frequency" to see them. Each time I found a coin and showed it to her, I could tell it was gradually helping her tune in to the right perceptual frequency.

One reason she was bad at this game was that she was tuning out the possible existence of coins everywhere she walked. She just didn't think there could be that many coins hiding in plain sight. By demonstrating to her that the coins were indeed there and that she was simply failing to notice them, I helped shift her beliefs. She stopped thinking of the game as something outside her control (relying on luck or chance), and she began thinking of what she could control (her open-mindedness and attentiveness).

At first when she would walk past a coin, and I'd pick it up and say, "Look at this, Emily. There was a nickel there, and you walked right past it! Your eyes definitely saw it because you were looking in that direction, but the coin didn't register in your mind. You still need to adjust yourself to the right vibe. Remember — the coins are everywhere! You just have to command your eyes to notice them."

Initially this surprised her. She could dismiss it as luck… or as some kind of trick… or as a momentary lapse of her part. Then when it kept happening, it began to frustrate her. I helped her shift that frustration to amusement by pointing out that she was really good at finding bottle caps and smudges, and we had some laughs about that. She just needed to adjust her mind a little bit more to notice the coins.
Finally she began to accept that yes, there really are coins everywhere, and she only has to notice them. It seemed like she was beginning to tell her eyes and her mind to get with the program and start noticing the coins.

Emily has a competitive side, so I played to that by challenging her to find more coins than me, which boosted her motivation and desire to get good at it. She knows that technically it's a fair game, and she even gave herself an advantage by walking in front of me, so she could be the first to spot new coins. And since she's only 4'9" inches tall, she's a lot closer to the ground than I am.

Gradually she got better at the game. We went out yesterday and played again. In an hour of walking around some hotels on the Vegas Strip, she found 46 cents: 1 quarter, 3 nickels, and 6 pennies. In that same time, I found only 6 cents. She won the game for the first time and was pretty excited about it. And of course I gave her lots of accolades for it, so as to encourage her to keep improving.

I dare say she's probably better at finding coins than I am now. She now knows there are coins everywhere, but she also really gets into the playful and competitive spirit of the game, which is much more exciting for her than it is for me. I think partly she likes knowing that it's a fair game that either of us can win, and there's no reason she can't be at least as skillful as I am.

When it comes to creating a vibe of playfulness and excitement, children can easily be more masterful than adults. This is the same vibe we need to recreate as adults in order to manifest whatever we desire.

It may sound silly to do this as an adult, but it's a game worth playing. When you're out with friends sometime, have a contest to see who can manifest the most money. You may not get too excited about finding coins, but you may generate some excitement about trying to best your friends in a silly contest. That silliness will actually help you get the right vibe, thereby improving your ability to manifest money.
Detachment

People often get confused about the relationship between desire and detachment. Aren't they diametrically opposed? How can you have both at the same time? Isn't desire a form of attachment?

No, these aren't in conflict. They coexist perfectly.

Let me explain.

Desire is about what you wish to create. You could describe this vibe as passion, excitement, or even lust. It's a delicious pool of emotions you summon by focusing on a new target. The stronger your desire, the better, so amp it up!

Detachment, on the other hand, is about how those desires ultimately manifest for you. When you become too attached to when and how your desires show up, you screw up the manifesting process. Instead of holding the vibe of playfulness and abundance, you start sending out signals like concern, worry, and stress. Don't do that!

Would you become stressed and worried if you couldn't find enough coins on the ground? Would that vibe improve your performance? No, that would only lower your performance.

When you notice that you're getting frustrated, pause, breathe, and go back to the desire side. Hold that vision of the creation you wish to experience, and wallow in the positive sensations of being there in your heart, mind, and spirit. Know that physical reality will soon catch up, as long as you keep holding the right vibe.

When you feel moved to take action from a place of passion and excitement, not stress, then go ahead and let those actions flow through you. It will seem to be more work to stop yourself — you'll feel like you're chickening out and holding back if you stay still. Follow your impulses. But don't worry about the immediate results of those actions. There may be some twists and turns along the way.
Power

When manifesting money, it's especially important that you don't give your power away to money. This negates your creative ability, and the money probably won't arrive if you do that. This is a VERY common mistake.

You can't effectively wield the power of manifestation by believing that you can manifest something you desire (i.e. money) while simultaneously believing that something you desire has power over you (i.e. money).

If you want to manifest money, you CANNOT believe that money is a power source. Money cannot give you wealth or abundance or happiness. It really can't give you anything. Money just sits there — all the power comes from you. If you believe that having more money will give you any additional power at all, then you're actually holding the vibe that says, "I'm too weak to attract money." You'll have to get a jobinstead.

Think of it like this. If you want to manifest money, but you believe that money is its own power source, then deep down you're giving money the power to say no to you. If money has power, then it can refuse to show up.

Instead of this crazy wrong approach, in your mindset and heartset, you must KNOW that you're completely 100% dominant over money and that money is completely 100% submissive to you. You're in total command of it. If you order it to show up, it must obey you. It has no power of its own. It cannot refuse you.

When you manifest money, you are COMMANDING it to come into your reality. You're the CREATOR. Money has no choice but to obey you, but only if you wield your true power. If you give your power away to money, then you empower money to deny your requests. Money will say, "Well, if you're letting me decide, then no, I'm staying over here."

If you approach money like a power source of its own, then by trying to manifest it, you're really trying to overpower it, and in such a contest you'll usually lose. That contest, however, is completely internal — and pretty much insane. It's like trying to arm wrestle yourself. How can you win? It's a false reality you're projecting because you aren't ready to fully wield your own power yet.

Remember that money is nothing but a number. Or it's pieces of metal and paper. How could it possibly be more powerful than a conscious human being such as yourself?

If you think that once you have money, you will become stronger, you're crazy. Absolutely deluded! More likely — if you actually did manifest money from that kind of vibe — you'd grow even weaker. This would be a bad outcome for you, even though it seems like what you want. You'd be a weak-minded, weak-hearted person with more money, and you'd still see the money as more powerful than you, even while it's in your possession. You'd then become attached to it and afraid of losing it because you'd still mistakenly see it as a power source. It would become a source of security for you, a constantly vulnerable one. The more money you had, the more paranoid you'd become about losing it. This would really mess you up big time. So be very, very glad that you naturally attract less money when you think of money as a power source. If you invite money into your life from that crazy frame of giving away your power, then money will become your Master, and you will be forever its slave. Don't even go there!

If money has no power, then why manifest it at all? In truth, you don't need to. But if you wish to manifest money, then do it as a game. Money is a just toy you can play with. Get excited about the experience of manifesting money, but don't put any attention into what you'd do with the money once you have it. It's merely a number.

If you desire something you think money will give you, then focus on that desire directly, not on the money you think you need to get it. Money may or may not be part of the manifestation process.

Only focus on manifesting money directly if you're capable of seeing the money as a plaything, like a video game score. It's only something to manifest for fun, not something to get all worked up and stressed about.

Once again, do NOT give your power away to money. You must know that money is completely powerless. All the power is within you, never out there.
Upgrading

When manifesting money, start small and work up to larger amounts. See it as a score you're aiming to increase, but don't put larger amounts on a pedestal by assuming they're more difficult to manifest.

I started with manifesting pennies in the Summer of 2006. Then I graduated to nickels, dimes, and quarters. I focused on quarters for several weeks. Then I progressed to dollars to $100 to $1000 to $10K to $50K. Overall it took less than a year to go from manifesting pennies to manifesting $50K. After that point I become more interested in non-monetary manifesting and had some especially fun times with manifesting in my social life — friends, mentors, and other yumminess. In fact, I honestly feel that manifesting money is a bit boring compared to all the other cool stuff you can manifest. It's like playing a video game and obsessing over the score. That can be fun for a while, but eventually you want to focus on more interesting aspects of the game world.

If you can get good at manifesting coins, you can manifest larger sums too. The process is the same. Only some limiting beliefs of yours may stand in the way. But as you gradually upgrade to larger sums, you can collapse those false beliefs.
Once Emily gets good at manifesting coins and feels comfortable and confident with it, I'll start challenging her to manifest larger sums. She may not find money on the ground as often, but it will show up in other ways.

Money comes to you through the filters of your beliefs, but you don't have to change your beliefs radically. You just have to open enough of a portal in your beliefs to allow different sums to come to you.

Coins may be found on the ground while you're walking around. Bills will sometimes be found on the ground too. Larger sums may manifest in the form of exchanges, business deals, inheritances, inspired action, and other ways. Assume that those larger sums are right in front of your face, staring at you and screaming at you to notice them. You just have to tune your vibe to the right frequency to pick them up.

I've noticed that as I've shifted my vibe to manifest larger sums of money and to manifest new experiences in other parts of my life, I seem to fall out of resonance with manifesting smaller sums. I'm not as good at manifesting coins as I was in 2006. That's because my vibe isn't tuned in to the coin manifesting frequency as much. These days I'm spending more time using the LoA to manifest cool social connections and travel experiences. I've tuned my vibe to focus on that part of the perceptual frequency. I also feel more excited and playful about manifesting in these other areas as opposed to adding to my financial score.
Congruency

Every relationship in your life contributes to the overall vibe you're putting out. This includes all the different ways you relate to money.

For example, if your job sucks and doesn't pay you very well, and you try to manifest money on the side, that probably won't work so well because each time you go to work at your job, you risk re-triggering the vibe of feeling financially under-appreciated.

This is where lots of people get stuck with the LoA. They put out conflicting vibes every day. They may visualize having more money and feeling abundant and grateful, but then they go to the grocery store, and they buy cheap, low quality food because in the back of their mind, they're saying to themselves that they can't afford the good stuff. And that naturally cancels out the vibe of abundance, so the result is no change.

If your current circumstances cause you to emit conflicting vibes, then even as you go through the motions of acting in accordance with a scarcer financial situation than you'd like, keep your vibe focused on that of abundance. The best way to do that is by holding the heartset of gratitude. So even if you buy cheap, low-quality food, hold the vibe that you're grateful for it and that you appreciate it. Feel appreciative that such food exists and that it's within your budget. And then look at the high quality stuff, and emotionally invite it into your life. If possible, find one way in which you can splurge for higher quality items, like buying a few organic apples, and feel grateful that you can do that. And when you eat those apples, really enjoy them, and intend to receive more of the same.

But do NOT beat yourself up for not being able to afford what you desire. That will only lower your vibe.

Do like I did with Emily when she kept finding bottle caps and smudges. Praise yourself for succeeding at what you're already manifesting, and then command your senses to adjust to a more abundant part of the spectrum of reality. Be patient with yourself — you'll get it.

Whenever you start feeling bad about your financial situation, see that as a form of feedback. Let it become an immediate trigger to refocus on your desires. Say to yourself, "Okay, obviously I don't want this. So what do I want instead?" Then think about happier alternatives; allow your mind to go there, and let the resulting new vibe flow through you.

Manifesting money is a fun challenge. It's definitely doable if you approach it from a place of playfulness, knowing, and power. It does involve some discipline, but the discipline is mental and emotional, not physical.

You aren't going to let a 10-year old girl kick your ass at this game, are you?
